Meetings of the Ambassador of Armenia with the Rector of the University of Luxembourg, the Mayor of Esch and the Executive Director of the Startup House

On March 8, Ambassador Tigran Balayan paid a visit to the University of Luxembourg, where he met with Rector Stefan Palage to discuss the implementation of the agreements made at the previous meeting.
After the meeting, Ambassador Balayan toured the university accompanied by the rector and got acquainted with the activities of educational and research centers located in different buildings.

Tigran Balayan's next stop was the second-largest city in Luxembourg, Esch, the European capital of culture for 2022, where the ambassador met with Mayor Misho Georges. During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the possibilities of decentralized cooperation.
An agreement was reached to take practical steps to establish cooperation in the fields of culture and high technology.

Ambassador Balayan’s last meeting of the day was at the House of Startups (the largest Start-Up hub in Luxembourg).

The CEO of the House of Startups Philip Leinster presented the activities of many startups and international companies operating under one roof and the opportunities provided by their company, which aims to promote business efficiency through innovative approaches.

During the meeting a thorough discussion was held on the possibilities of cooperation between the innovation centers of the two countries and the ways of exchanging experience.
